About ABM

Arab Business Machine is a Value-Added Distributor for an Ecosystem of Tech Products, Audio & Smart Home Solutions.

Arab Business Machine part of the Midis Group was established in Dubai in 1986 to initially represent Apple in the Middle East region. As Apple’s business model changed, so did ABM’s, gradually evolving to a retail-centric setup. ABM reshuffled all of its resources to fit the new model where major investments were made to establish local entities throughout the Middle East.

Arab Business Machine is now a value-added Distributor for leading brands in the Middle East. Through its channel of retailers, authorized resellers and solution experts, ABM deals with Apple, Bang & Olufsen, iRobot and many other IT and Smart Home brands, with coverage across UAE, KSA, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon and Iraq.

From our Headquarters in Dubai, we have expanded our network of distribution and partner channels to the following countries. And more to come.

About Midis Group:

“With some 5000 professionals, over 100 of the world’s leading IT vendors, and a solid 50-year track record of performance and reliability, the Midis Group is an international organization spanning the emerging markets of Europe, the Middle East and Africa.  As one of the original World Economic Forum 100 Global Growth Companies, the Midis Group is known for its advanced offerings in ICT services and consultancy, system integration, software/hardware solutions and distribution, along with Data Center capabilities, power systems and IT infrastructure”

Arab Business Machine started its business as a highly centralized regional representative for Apple in the Middle East (Apple IMC). ABM handled all aspects of the relationship, from marketing & sales, to appointing and canceling channels, to training, to pre-sales & after-sales support, and warranty management.

With the launch of the iPod in 2001, ABM expanded into another specialized channel – retail. In addition to creating a branch in Saudi Arabia, under the name of Arab Computers, and without relinquishing our traditional customers in the creative industry and the education sector. ABM started its own retail team focusing on retail development and activities.

With a full spectrum of products at its disposal, ABM shifted gears and refocused efforts on the various retail sectors, and updated its human resources and logistic capacities to suit this new focus. ABM acquired capacities to deliver to the point of sales, and deployed teams to execute end-to-end solutions for retailers.
